This series explores the tension between stability and fragility, examining the dialogue between nature and humanity through the image of the tree.

I use the tree not only as a metaphor but also as a symbol for my own search for roots and inner strength. As an adopted child, the tree represents my journey of seeking stability and connection in a constantly shifting world.

The trees I photograph, often rooted in complex historical and political landscapes—ranging from the ancient lands of the Roman Empire to contemporary scenes in Palestinian territories—reflect resilience in the face of external forces, changing environments and the idea of home and the feeling of displacement.
